Jake Alexander

Jake Alexander is a Cornish musician who studied composition at Trinity College of Music, and now lives and works in South East London. He directs several local choirs, including Quaggy Community Choir, based in Lewisham, KT6 Vocal Group, from Surbiton, and Raised Voices, a political protest choir.

Jake specialises in writing accessible, three-part, a cappella arrangements of pop songs, folk songs and sea shanties. He also plays the electric cello, and forms one half of folk duo, The Sea Kings, with whom he writes, sings and plays percussion.
